Preparation – While most of the course has been too wet to get out on this week. We have been polishing some of the finer details. The gardens infront of the club house were re-edged, re-barked, pruned, mown and tidied up yesterday ✂️ 🪴🏡
Nice to see the sun briefly over the past week long enough to get a hand mow on the front 9 Greens. The greens are recovering well after last weeks scarify and top dress.
Heavy dew in the morning. Wet, warm and Wormcasts at the minute. Morning job every morning this time of year is to remove Dew from the greens, there are a few reasons we remove dew but mainly it helps to reduce the chance of disease. and improve overall presentation to our members. and guests.
Wet Wet Wet – so far this month we have had over 92mm of rain. This is the highest amount since 2014 when we had 119mm
