Neil McEwan – PGA Head Professional

The Professional Shop at Maxstoke Park Golf Club is run by PGA Head Professional Neil McEwan. Neil was appointed Head Professional in 1994 and, with over 30 years of experience, is considered to be one of the best coaches in the Midlands.

Neil has been coach to European tour players Steve Webster, Tom Whitehouse, Andy Sullivan and Sam Walker as well as many Challenge tour and PGA golf professionals.

Neil is a member of the TGI Golf buying group meaning the professional shop is stocked with major leading brands in the golf industry. With some of the most competitive prices around, unbiased PGA advice and the facility to try before you buy Neil and his team will not leave you disappointed.

The Pro Shop offers golfers of all abilities a comprehensive custom fit service looking at every aspect of the players game. Neil is a Titleist Premier Fitting Partner which represent the elite within the fitting network, equipped with the highest level of fitting equipment. They are able to offer golfers an in-depth and thorough fitting experience. Neil is also a registered fitting partner with Ping, TaylorMade and Callaway. Neil is also equipped with the latest technology a TrackMan 4 golf launch monitor provides you with club and ball data including impact location with video analysis and data tailored to you to ensure you receive a top custom fit experience.

James Griffiths – Trainee PGA Professional

James has been a member at Maxstoke Park for 17 years and has been a member of the professional team since 2019. James is currently undertaking a FDSC Golf Studies Degree to further his knowledge in the golfing industry. James is approachable and knowledgeable about a wide range of golf retail and is always ready to assist members providing impartial advice.

The Professional team will ensure all visitors to Maxstoke Park Golf Club enjoy their experience. This may include assistance with welcoming your guests, on course refreshments and markers, score card management and results services for the end of your round.
